Custom Series | Shred Stixx Wakesurf Boards

The Shred Stixx Custom Series is for our customers that want the ability to build the perfect wakesurf board. Each board from our custom series is the product of over 40 years of surf board development and is hand shaped and glassed right here in the USA using Stixx’s own ePtech board technology.

For the 2012 season we have brought back two models from the Shred Stixx early years with the Mako and Stixxtreme. With these two boards back in the line up, we truly have a surf style wakesurf board for every rider, skill level, and weight class.

Also new for the 2012 season is the Carbon Flex Pro Package developed by Shred Stixx Team Shaper Nick Wiersema. This ultra light, stringerless, carbon fiber package creates the most technologically advanced wakesurf boards on the market. The CFP integrates various arrays of carbon fiber and other reinforcements, specialized core materials and epoxy formulations to develop a more resilient customizable wake surfboard package with an improved flex pattern that translates to a more rapid ‘spring-back’ effect. Lighter, faster, more responsive, and bigger airs. We are also offering 3 other carbon fiber packages on our custom series for 2012.

At Shred Stixx, we understand that building custom wakesurf boards is a form of art and we encourage our customers to call or email with any specific questions or requests. We created a 5 step process for helping our customers build their Stixx.

New for 2012:

Mako: Available only in 4′ 11″

The Mako is one of the original Shred Stixx models and shares a number of attributes with its smaller performance oriented cousin the Thresher, including a double wing swallow tail, narrowed nose and thruster fin set up. The Mako differs in an overall wider outline for increased floatation for larger riders and a deeper swallow tail. The Mako was designed to bridge the gap between the performance board and fun cruiser.

Stixxtreme: Available only in 5′ 6″

The Stixxtreme is one of the original Shred Stixx models. It was developed to provide even the largest of riders the same surf style ride as the rest of the Shred Stixx lineup. Many Stixxtreme owners consider this their go to family board for all day fun on the water. The performance style surf shape, progressive single wing and deep swallow tail allows the Stixxtreme to effortlessly glide behind the boat or be pumped down the line for aggressive carves. The Stixxtreme is also at home in the ocean paddling for and catching waves, making it a truly versatile board.

At Shred Stixx, we have the ability to build set your Stixx up as a standard thruster or quad fin set up or can also build boards with 5 Fin Futures set up to accommodate those riders looking for the flexibility to ride with either 3 or 4 fins in the water. We also offer the colored ILT boxes from Futures available in white, black, yellow, green, lime green, purple, blue, red, and orange.
